SENIOR SOFTWARE QA ENGINEER

The successful applicant will be a key member of a Software QA team testing Windows8 . This candidate will apply their experience to key areas such as Power/Performance and perform/automate tests.

RESPONSIBILITIES: - To write/update test plans according to specifications - Utilize scripting/coding skills for automation - To execute the tests, analyze data and report them to development teams - To track the issues and update them regularly - To provide technical analysis and data driven reports to stakeholders

- Explore tools and QA practices to create better test coverage

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - BS or MS in EE/CS/CE or related technical degree - QA Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in testing Mobile devices (Tablet preferred) - Working knowledge of scripting and coding. Preferably Perl/Python and C#/Java - OS/System knowledge to help analyze system-wide performance. E.g. Power config options, storage - Understands mobile device components. E.g. Accelerometer/GPS/Camera/Touch/Ambient light Sensor - Individual contributor that performs well with minimal supervision - Experience with Microsoft xPerf/WinSat/WHQL/Velocity tools (Optional) - Understands how to setup a web server and execute load tests (Optional) - Mobile App development (Optional)
