Software QA Engineer

• Develop test plans and test scenarios based on iteration content to support appropriate test coverage of user stories • Review user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications and other available information in order to develop test cases • Execute test cases and write defects as issues are identified • Provide recommendations to aid software development bug resolution • Write white/gray/black-box test cases to validate acceptance criteria • Execute and monitor automated regression test suite • Generate reports and provide test metrics as needed

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent • 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience • 2+ years of hands on software test automation • 2+ years direct experience working with Unix(Linux), Windows, SQL, Java, .Net, JavaScript, HTML and XML • Experience with Shell scripting and batch commands • Object oriented testing experience • Excellent written and oral communication skills
