SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

* Collaborate with scrum team to create test scenarios of web pages that allow for a bug free experience for customers, automating those scenarios so as to avoid boredom of repetitive testing * Evaluate current test procedures and automation tools and drive improvements * Report to all defects found and an analysis of each one, in an agile development environment

* BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field * 3+ years of software quality assurance and/or development experience * 2+ years of experience in testing of services, including object-oriented API testing * Ability to analyze production logs using basic debugging techniques to assist engineers in troubleshooting real time issues * Strong communication skills, able to effectively represent severity of issues as encountered * Solid coding skills in C/C++, PL/SQL, C#, Java or other relevant programming development skills * Working knowledge of Linux, SOAP protocol, client/server communications, relational database and SQL query language * Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes, including qa processes, software test design strategy and software testing tools * Familiar with at least one UI automation tool; Extensive automation background * Ability to extend input and expected data, mock objects and troubleshoot dynamic data problems * Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and manage time effectively with little management overhead
