Quality Assurance Team Lead

* Leadand direct Professional Services’ central quality assurance group * Define quality assurance standards and guidelines for the division * Manage and grow a team of release managers and testers * Manage the software release process for a variety of custom projects * Perform project auditing for compliance to QA standards and guidelines * Establish release schedules and tracking and control procedures

* Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, information technology, or a related field, depending on position level * Two or more years of leadership experience in software test planning * Successful development and implementation of release plans within a software development organization * Demonstrated success as a self-starter * Knowledge of software architecture and deployment best practices * Strong organizational and attention to detail skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Experience as a release manager, configuration manager, software release engineer, or similar role * Experience with or knowledge of geospatial technologies * Hands-on experience deploying enterprise web applications * Experience with work management tracking systems such as Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server
