Software Testing Analyst

Provide training, in area of expertise, to team members as required

Provide training on test process per new employee orientation outline

Facilitate new employee training

Review work of new employees until deemed trained

Manage and prioritize your workload; escalate conflicting schedules to Group Leader

Coordinate Project test effort when multiple test analysts are on your team

Assist in assessing timeline deliverables

Provide work status reports to Group Leaders

Participate in project status meetings

Lead group meetings, as needed

Ensure the timely delivery of all client (internal and external) deliverables

Perform other work related responsibilities as assigned by management

Write clear, concise and thorough Test documents

Execute test cases according to the defined test methodology

Define logical, risk-based test approach for each project assigned to you

Perform peer review quality check of Test documentation, as required

Escalate issues to Senior Test Analyst or GL as needed

Track and control the change management process within your projects

Participate in ongoing process improvement

Participate in client and FDA system audits as required

Assist quality assurance with responses to audit findings

Take full ownership through to completion of all tasks assigned; ensure proper hand off and communication to next owner

Other responsibilities as assigned by management.



Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Science related field or comparable work experience demonstrating ability

Quality Center, Test Manager or other test management tools

Basic knowledge of Visual Basic and .NET

Principles of Rational ClearCase or other source control tools

VB scripting language

Intermediate level SQL (query language) skills

Microsoft Project

Knowledge of supply chain management
