Entry Level Test Analyst

Responsibilities

The Test Analyst is primarily responsible for designing and executing tests. This role requires not only application knowledge, but also system knowledge in how all components work together, and technical knowledge to perform preliminary troubleshooting. The Test Analyst is responsible for logging and tracking defects. This role is highly focused on quality through strict attention to detail and communicating project status to leadership and team members. Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, or IT-related field of study, or equivalent experience * Ability to create and define test scenarios based on functional specifications, end-user workflow and intended use of the software * Ability to create and execute automated and manual test cases based on software design requirements * Able to troubleshoot test case scenarios during system testing * Possess decision making skills as well as the ability to deal with ambiguity * Strong analytic and problem solving abilities * Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed

* Experience with software testing tools * Experience writing automated/manual test scripts
