QA ENGINEER

· Hands on testing (e.g. regression, smoke, feature, system)

· Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modifications

· Coordinating with an offshore test team

· Define testing requirements/objectives,and author test cases for highly complex technical issues

· Integrate and work with developers to develop the best test suites to insure quality product

· Analyze/write test standards and procedures

· Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action to the development team.

· 4+ years software QA experience with an End User Application

· Experience in testing Client/Server and Web Applications a must

· MS SQL Server and the ability to use SQL Query

· Excellent documentation skills

· Previous experience managing a QA department or has taken personal ownership within a QA department

· Experience testing infrastructure products is a plus

· Experience with Virtual Machines (i.e. VMware, Xen, Microsoft VM)

· Previous experience developing and implementing regression and feature test suites a must

· Experience in Testcase management tool in addition to Bug tracking tool is a plus

· Previous experience effectively working in a team environment including off shore teams

· Ability to rapidly absorb new concepts - either technical or industry related
