Software Engineer QA -

Actively participate in the Agile Scrum teams Collaborate with product owner and developers during story inception and development Maintain and create the test environments. Automate acceptance test cases and develop testing tools as needed Continuous expansion of the depth and breadth of product & system testing Manual and exploratory testing of in-progress and completed stories Research and answer escalated customer issues, as needed Routinely isolate the root cause of a defect when applicable

Qualified candidates need to have a supportive and collaborative mindset while possessing excellent analytical and evaluation skills. Training in exploratory or agile testing skills is a plus. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, open environment. Excellent communication skills required. In addition, the following: Moderate experience with Linux environments Broad experience with automation tools and languages (both commercial and open-source) Experience with any scripting platforms & languages (such as Java, Python, Perl, ruby, javascript, etc.) Experience with Networking protocols and protocol analysis Solid understanding of Agile principles and values Minimum 1 year in an Agile software development environment Minimum 3 years in software development or test role BSCS / CE (or equivalent) + 3 years of experience
