Software QA Automation Engineer
* Create, maintain and manage database of software defects
* Design test strategies and scripts
* Design and develop automated testing tools
* Document software defects using a bug tracking system
* Monitor bug resolution efforts and track reopen rates
* Investigate customer or business user reported system problems
* Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product design and potential problems
* Ability to harvest and mine data for testing purposes
* Ability to outline goals and outcomes, gather data, brainstorm on alternative solutions, evaluate pros and cons
* Highly-developed analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to interact with diverse personalities
* Ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment
* Experience in a startup environment preferred
* 5+ Years of QA experience (minimum) is REQUIRED
* Strong Automation experience is REQUIRED
* Design, create and execute automated test scripts is REQUIRED
* Client/Server testing experience is preferred
* Experience with Microsoft Quick Test Pro
* Ability to write and execute SQL queries is Preferred
* Significant experience in a fast paced environment with ability to meet committed deadlines
* Ability to perform and provide risk analysis recommendations
* VBScript experience as well as other scripting languages is preferred
* Mobile/Web Device manual and automated testing is REQUIRED
* Knowledge of application development and project management methodologies
* Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
* Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
* White box testing experience preferred
