QA Analyst

Adhere to established Software Development Lifecycle methods in an Agile environment Research and analyze system problems and recommend solutions Develop and execute test plans to verify system continuity, integration functionality and efficiency. Assist project managers, business coordinators, and fellow QA team members in providing project deliverables on time and as expected Review User Stories/Requirements and work with Project Management and Business Coordination team to ensure that sufficient information is available to start test planning Collect and understand Technical detail specifications for all upcoming changes to fully understand the scope of changes and insure thorough test coverage Perform manual testing Develop test plans, test scenarios, data and test scripts Perform Functional, System, Regression and database tests. Attend and participate in Agile/Scrum related meetings on a regular basis including planning, review, and retrospective Create, execute and maintain automated test scripts to verify application GUI and functionality Mentor Software QA Analysts and promote Quality Assurance best practices Assist Software QA management to insure that all test planning, execution, and reporting are completed Assist Software QA management in resource/capacity planning to insure that a balanced and complete project coverage is achieved.

Looking for a candidate whose strength is in Quality Assurance (client/server and web apps development) 5+ years minimum experience of QA practices and related works 5+ years of experience supporting web related and client/server development projects 5+ years of experience performing QA Testing functions 5+ years of experience providing QA Testing for large application initiatives Must have experience presenting findings to a large audience (versus just one on one) 5+ years writing and executing SQL queries Data management experience as well as experience in the testing of databases, MS SQL experience a plus 5+ years of experience authoring, tracking, and working defects until resolution Experience working with MS Visual Studio and/or TFS a plus, but not required Experience analyzing, designing, and developing overall test plans (System, Integration and UAT testing) to perform repeatable testing procedures and processes. 5+ years of experience writing test cases, executing test cases and tracking the results. Manual testing experience is a must have Automated testing experience is a plus, but not required Solid skills in MS Excel and MS Word Experience leading QA test planning, test execution, post execution reporting, and resource allocation
