QA Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline. Directly relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirement

2-5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment in quality control, quality assurance or engineering

Excellent written / verbal communication skills Good judgment to work effectively in a fast pasted customer focused environment Must be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access

Effectively communicate quality requirements to suppliers acting as the main point of contact for quality issues

Perform on-site supplier quality system audits to ensure implementation of and compliance with appropriate quality systems resulting in consistent and timely supply

Update and maintain supplier quality rating report system

Maintain supplier corrective action request and defective material report systems

Assist in the development of quality control standards Ensure effective quality training for all company personnel

Establish, implement and maintain the Quality Management System
