Software QA Engineer SDET

Participate in requirements and design specification. Develop and execute test plans and report test results. Write and execute both manual and automated tests. Execute automated test scripts using Selenium. Work closely with developers, testers, and product managers to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs. Enter, track, and update product and automation framework defects in the defect tracking system. Perform regression testing on bi-weekly code releases.

3 to 5 years of professional experience with quality assurance of multi-tiered web engineering products. 3 years of professional experience with Selenium WebDriver. 2 to 3 years designing and developing software automated tools using C#, C++ or .NET is a plus. 2 to 3 years developing automation scripts with a scripting language such as VBScript or JScript is a big plus. 3 to 5 years of professional experience working with Visual Studio. 2 to 3 years of professional experience working with SQL. Experience testing high traffic, high performance web applications, API, and Web Services. Solid understanding of software development and software quality lifecycles. Ability to take work on multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent judgment skills to assess the high risk areas. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Must be able to demonstrate competence and self-motivation in analyzing problems and performing root cause analysis. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be an outstanding team player. Ability to be creative, efficient, and productive with minimal supervision or guidance. Knowledge of domain names and the DNS system would be a strong asset.
