Software QA Lead
Design and Execute Stress, Capacity and Performance test cases for Wireless LAN Controllers and features
• Setting up the testbeds and run the test cases
• Technical lead for helping the management team to evaluate the project schedule and help junior test engineers to solve the test cases issues
• Reproduce the customer issues and work with developers for trouble shooting
• Based on the functional/system test requirements, evaluate the testing tools
• Automating the test cases
• Providing the feedback for product status
· 7+ years of experience in designing and doing the embedded platform testing
· Familiar with blackbox testing cycle and good understanding of software test process and methodologies
· Experience and good knowledge of wireless protocols and authentication methods is preferred – e.g., 802.11a/b/g, 802.11n, 802.11ac, RADIUS, EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, etc
· Good system administration knowledge of Linux/Windows based operating systems
· Must have hands-on experience in a complete cycle of end-to-end Wireless LAN or LAN Testing
· Experience with different type of testing tools, such as veriwave, Ixia, LanForge, wget, Curl etc
· Depth knowledge of IP networking, including TCP, UDP, RTP protocols
· Depth knowledge of DHCP, Radius, HTTP protocols
· Strong experience in testing scalable, secure, distributed, multi-threaded, and high-performance systems
· Proficient at problem diagnosis, troubleshooting
· B. S. or M. S. in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university
· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the team and provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers
· Ability to write scripting language for testing tools and automation development, such as TCL, Perl, shell script
· Familiar with Network management system
