Software QA Engineer

Complete software testing and other tasks as assigned, in support of development team goals Code and maintain test automation scripts for our continuous integration, regression test, and performance test environments Write, maintain, review, and execute manual test plans Investigate, test, and track defects

Lead and promote adoption of QA standards, best practices, and process improvements

Embrace Scrum methodology and practices. Actively participate in team discussion, decisions and continuous improvement

Establish and maintain productive, collaborative working relationships with Engineering development team members and other groups

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Geography or related field. 5 to 10 years of direct experience in software quality assurance, software testing, programming, or related experience in a professional software development environment Thorough knowledge of software testing practices, including test planning, automation, performance/load testing, and defect management Thorough knowledge of SOAP/ REST web services and service oriented architecture Proficiency with software build and test automation tools, such as TeamCity, Maven, Ant, SoapUI, Junit, Jmeter Proficiency with a programming or scripting language, such as Java, C#, Python, Groovy RDBMS/SQL experience, such as Oracle, SQL Server Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Java administration Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
