Test Facility Research Engineer

Primary engineering duties involve maintaining test system, performing all set up and testing tasks prior to experiments, and operating the system during experiments.

The engineer will also have the primary responsibility to responds to all system alarms and faults that may occur during operation.

Ensuring accurate data collection, performing data analysis and data quality checks, and writing engineering reports upon experiment completion are also important tasks.

In addition, the engineer is responsible for the troubleshooting, modification and repair of the system’s pumps, electric motors, reduction gears, sensors, and software controls.

Must be comfortable with reviewing experimental data quickly and accurately, creating reports containing analyses

A BS degree in mechanical engineering
