Associate Software QA Engineer

• Able to execute existing test plans with little guidance within 30 days. • Able to navigate through QA specific planning/tracking tools with little guidance within 30 days. • Able to validate defect fixes with little guidance within 60 days • Able to help define acceptance criteria with business analyst and developer within 60 days. • Demonstrate to team members the ability to write/execute test plans for new product development within 90 days.

• Develop and execute manual test cases and show ability/initiative to learn to develop automated tests • Design detailed test cases and procedures from requirement specifications • Functional testing, regression testing, and system-level integration testing. end-to-end testing and acceptance testing as needed. • Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals • Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are being met • Test new applications as well as continue ongoing, repeatable testing for existing products

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience • 1+ years’ experience in software quality assurance focused on Web-based applications/reports/web services • 1+ years’ experience testing reports in a Sharepoint/SSRS environment • 1+ years’ experience writing test cases and test plans • 1+ year(s) experience using QA testing tools. Mercury Test Suite preferred, including: Test Director/Quality Center. • Experience in Black Box Testing, Gray Box Testing a plus • Conceptual understanding of Relational Databases
