Engineer I, Software Development Quality

Responsibilities:

Supports quality compliance checks for on-time completion of Design Control Deliverables.

Supports quality activities ensuring Design Verification and Validation planning, execution, and deliverables comply with quality system regulations

Performs assigned product acceptance testing activities

Responsible for running compliance and/or performance tests as needed to ensure delivery of a quality product, and conducting cross-functional root-cause analysis investigation and issue resolution activities; write scripts to support quality production and release efforts.

Supports Risk Management activities from product Concept through Commercialization.

Supports design test and inspection method development, and support method validation activities.

Ensures Design History File content, integrity, and regulatory & standards compliance; collaboratively communicating & resolving gaps.

Supports and ensures the establishment of objective, measurable, discrete, and verifiable customer and product requirements.

Your experience(s), education and knowledge will further expand St. Jude Medical’s marketplace success:

Bachelor level degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.

Solid written, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong aptitude for working with detail.
