IV&V Automation Tester

Responsibilities:

Participate in full testing life cycle as part of a high-performing team Develop and execute automated and manual tests Edit / develop test scripts for Load, Regression, and Smoke testing Work in collaboration with the customer and other contractors to ensure that Performance, Load, and Stress testing is completed in a timely manner Provide status to Program Management during regular meetings Schedule and assign resources to support Load testing Participate in Section 508 testing

Required Skills/Experience:

4+ years of strong software testing experience; strong hands on experience with test automation, and Load, Stress, and Performance testing 2+ years of hands on testing experience with HP LoadRunner, HP Quality Center, and HP ALM / QTP Experience working with test automation frameworks Experience with JavaScript and/or VBScript Strong hands on experience with test scripting, XML, and SQL Excellent communication skills Ability to plan and execute Load/Stress/Performance Tests Knowledge of software development life-cycles, Load/Stress/Performance test methodologies, test case development, test execution Ability to perform results analysis and reporting Strong analysis and problem-solving skills to identify issues or breakdowns in processes
