Software Testing Analyst I/II
The Software Testing Analyst Levels I, II and III will use formal software test methodologies to write and execute functional, system, performance, and usability/compatibility test plans and test cases for automated and manual tests related to products supporting a pharmaceutical clinical services organization. The individual will log errors, recreate them as needed, track errors through to resolution, and escalate issues when appropriate. The individual will create test reports and maintain significant levels of test documentation. The Software Testing Analyst will ensure communication of project test status to project team members and will be responsible for the timely delivery of all test deliverables. Additional responsibilities will be to participate in requirements, system and database design, and code reviews; and control the change management process for each assigned Project. Responsibilities include:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Science related field or comparable work experience demonstrating ability
Moderate experience working in a regulated formalized software testing environment
and creating and implementing manual test suites in a formal SDLC environment
Must possess a technical background in software and object-oriented systems development and testing, and be able to apply this knowledge to designing appropriate test strategies and approaches
Ability to meet aggressive project timelines, while sustaining high performance, and high quality is essential
Experience using change management tools, preferably Rational ClearQuest
Experience working with web-based, interactive voice response, and locally deployed client-server projects on Windows NT/2000/2003
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
Experience testing randomization schemas
Knowledge of drug management
Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and other FDA regulatory requirements
Handles multiple tasks effectively, with minimal management supervision
Effectively prioritizes work, anticipates and proactively identifies problems, and develops and applies innovative solutions
