Manager, IT QA

Primary Responsibilities

Lead technical projects including data validation, automation, test strategies. Manual and automated testing for all Humedica products. Troubleshoot problems with application server, database, operating system setup Run SQL queries to verify the backend data is accurate. Work in our agile engineering environment. Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives Product test and driving defect resolution Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans Establish and maintain test cases and test data Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance Work with business users, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects Comply with standards and strategies of the software development life cycle

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience 3 or more years of Management experience 5 or more years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience 5 or more years of relational database experience 3 or more years Quality Assurance Team Leadership experience Experience with QA testing tools Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) Proficiency with Linux Proficiency with Tomcat Servers Java Web testing experience Healthcare Industry experience
