Java Software Engineer in Test

Seeking a Java Software Engineer in Test to automate the testing and validation of our marketing platform and to assist us with discovering and developing new approaches to doing this.

Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with QA Analysts and other Java Software Engineers in both QA and Product Development to build automated test systems that will test services at the integration level and our application at the UI level. You will write code to test code.

Work closely with some of the project teams to understand what they are developing, make suggestions for better “baked in” quality, and to collaboratively build integration test suites to help ensure high quality in the services that these teams deliver to production.

Look for ways to improve the quality of our software. You can help us continue to do this is by bringing (or researching or imagining) new ways to measure and inspect the quality of product that we deliver to customers. The team will use these measures to identify areas that need attention or practices that can be improved.

Qualifications

Solid object oriented development experience (we use Java - PHP, python, or Ruby would be great additions to that) Excellent verbal and written communication Comfortable working in OS X and Linux development environments
