Information Systems Quality and Design Specialist
Bachelor's degree required.
Knowledge of computer environments, standards development, and system life cycle methodology required.
Knowledge of regulations as they relate to the blood industry quality and IT activities preferred.
Knowledge of performance improvement, statistical tools, or cGMP systems and applications preferred.
IT related certifications (i.e., ITIL, COBIT, CISA, CSQE, etc.) preferred.
Five years of related experience in an IT regulated industry required. To include:
Three years of experience in IT quality, regulatory, and/or auditing.
Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement implementation and/or project management experience preferred.
Use of statistical techniques and other problem solving tools preferred.
Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization, and problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
Must have proficient computer skills.
Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.
Additional Skills Preferred
Three years software quality assurance/engineering.
Three years quality experience.
T wo years IT auditing.
Two years Software Development Life Cycles.
Four years overall IT experience.
Experience with IT industry best practices.
Experience with software testing tools.
Experience/background in Blood Banking and/or Laboratory environment.
Experience with FDA or other regulatory agencies.
Ability to travel at least 30%, up to 50%.
