Staff Software Quality Engineer

Job Functions:

Provide technical leadership and quality perspective on process and technical issues for project teams developing software as part of a medical device system to be sold worldwide

Activities would include: Quality Planning, Analysis of System and Software Requirements, Verification and Validation Strategic Planning, Risk Assessment/Analysis, Design and Code Reviews, Reviewing Verification and Validation Testing, Disposition of Test Observations, Creation of Test Reports and providing input to the Quality System and its processes

Required Education & Skills:

Minimum of five years experience in software testing, validation, and risk management Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related discipline Strong time management skills, good documentation practices and communication skills 10% travel may be required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to influence and work with large cross functional teams Take initiative and have the ability to conduct hands-on work Ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail
