Web Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

· Development and execution of internal test plans and test cases according to project timelines and project deliverables

· Develop test automation scripts for regression test purposes

· Logging of issues found in a defect tracking system

· Test newly introduced features, reproduce customer issues and ensure quality of the SketchUp suite of products

· Review design documents to ensure test-ability of new features as well as the quality of the designs

· Test compatibility with other 3D/2D modeling applications

Skills/Experience required:

· 3 years experience

· BS/BA degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

· Web testing experience

· Web Automation experience

· Web technologies

· Experience testing software

· Ruby

· Customer-facing experience in a consulting relationship

· Selenium or WATiR

· Experience with Windows and Mac platforms

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work efficiently, independently and as part of a team

· Good verbal communications and organization skills

Skills/Experience desired:

· Scripting ability in Python and/or JavaScript

· SketchUp extension authoring

· Localization testing experience a plus

· Familiarity with JIRA and Perforce
