Software QA Automation Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage a team that designs, develops automation and troubleshoots / debugs cloud applications Drive and overview technical projects in a fast-paced environment Provide technical consulting and leadership to team members Assign team members to various projects and direct their activities Execute, debug, and review automated test suites Triage bugs, perform root cause analysis, and track for a resolution Work with global development teams to build testing solutions and troubleshoot issues in order to deliver products in high quality

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience Data analysis Proficient in software development life cycle, testing mythologies and test automation Hands on coding capability in Java, Shell, Perl or Python. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix and networking High energy; ability to manage in a dynamic environment Team-player, quick learner and proactive Stable work history

Additionally candidates should have skills in:

Product development background with large enterprise systems Prior “big data”, storage, cloud or large distributed systems experience is highly sought. Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, system, middleware, ‘big data” and/or networking. Big Data knowledge in Hadoop technology stack (Map Reduce, HDFS, Zookeeper) XML, SQL, and Oracle Databases Good understanding of software development methodologies and quality processes.
