Software Developer in Test

Responsibilities:

This position works as part of a project team to implement quality standards across software applications. This may include developing automated test cases, executing performance testing, developing test tools and analyzing complex data. Responsibilities may also include providing work direction and training to Associate SQA Analysts, completing documentation according to approved methodology and coordinating and participating in development and review meetings.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, plus two or more years software development or test automation experience Demonstrated ability with one or more programming languages (e.g. VB, ASP, SQL, VB.NET, ASP.NET, etc.) Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Exposure to defect tracking and source control systems Familiarity with application development methodologies Highly motivated with strong communication, analytical and technical skills along with the ability to work both independently and in teams required Knowledge of performance, load, and stress testing practices and tools is a definite plus Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies is a definite plus
