Test Engineer

Requirements: Six (6) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirements Three (3) years of technical experience in support of task specific project BS Degree in Engineering or Physical Science.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Work with hardware and software integrators and conduct the necessary engineering to facilitate integration of and establish an accredited hardware and software baseline for fielding Assist Space and Naval Warfare Systems - Atlantic (SSC-LANT) with integration support to IDS-MC (Marine Corps) for laptops and handheld systems to include all relevant documentation required to include but not limited to: Installation Guides, Build Plans, Software Version Descriptions, Software Administrator Manuals, Tactical Installation Guides, and Software User Manuals Provide System Functionality Verification testing, failure reporting (FRACAS), and technical help desk services May also be required to install, configure, and integrate approved software onto designated I&DS hardware; automate backup/restore, conduct functionality and interoperability tests, remove debugging and other development software such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Retina from the production baseline as required, and create images of functional baselines for all I&DS-MC computing systems.
