Quality Assurance Engineer

You have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, experience testing on both desktop and mobile browsers Solid background with both blackbox and greybox testing You are passionate about delivering high-quality products to market You have a keen attention to detail because you know your work is mission critical to the company You can anticipate corner cases, exceptions, and vulnerabilities You believe that QA isn’t just about finding technical issues but also problems with usability You have excellent communication skills, have no trouble explaining complex bugs verbally or in writing, discussing how to reproduce the issue, and why it’s important the problem be resolved

Responsibilities

Manage QA coverage of multiple projects simultaneously Coordinate with Product and Project Managers to identify scope of testing required for a project and manage the overall testing activities Write, execute, maintain test plans and test cases Keep the QA Manager apprised of project status and concerns Report issues, work closely with developers to help resolve them, then verify subsequent fixes Play an active role in feature planning meetings, giving feedback on feature specs, communicating scope of necessary testing Find and report issues, work closely with developers to resolve them, then verify fixes Work with the QA Manager to expand and mature the QA department, improving processes and developing policies
