Senior GUI Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

Interaction with developers on test case development, test approaches, and testing of individual components & releases.

Development of automated test scripts for functional, unit, compatibility, and performance/scalability testing of a Windows/Web based C# .NET, database-driven, XML configured, business intelligence user interface.

Execution of automated and manual functional, regression, load, and unit tests.

Customer-centric usability testing.

Defect tracking, metrics collection and reporting.

Required Experience/ Skills:

Five years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Experience planning, designing, and executing automated and manual Windows/ Web based user interface testing including usability, regression, functional, unit, system, and performance/scalability testing.

Knowledge of and experience with automated Windows testing toolsC# .NET programming experience.

Ability to deliver quality work on time.

Analytical and technical aptitude, attention to detail.

Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Experience/skills considered a plus:

QlikView experience

TestComplete experience.

Oracle PL/SQL knowledge.

VB Script experience

C# script experiecne

Business Intelligence / Decision Support System experience.

Quest Code Tester for Oracle experience.

XML experience

Advanced degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer or Information Technology.

Usability and user interface design experience.
