Software Test Engineer

Work effectively with cross-functional team members from appropriate areas of the organization to identify and resolve field issues.

Analyze application, specification and design documents to determine test scenarios

Define, write and execute test cases

Manage defects through resolution

Manually test new software on all types of exercise equipment – TVs, Ellipticals, Treads, AMTs, and Bikes Manually test software by manipulation of hardware to create error conditions Write Test Plans and Project Reports

Faciliate project meetings to learn about projects to define test areas for Test Plans

Document issues, testing challenges and software version for Project Reports Write up software “rollout” for demonstration to members of cross-fuctional teams Continuously improve test processes and techniques

Work closely with cross-fuctional team members to create automated tests when appropriate

Create documentation or spreadsheets to make testing easier for QA team Identify areas to improve for test coverage and implement improvements

Education: Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred

Experience and Skills: 3+ years hands-on software test experience

Experience testing and delivering high quality software

Expert knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools

Proven ability to create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases
