Jr Software Tester /Software QA - W2 Only - OPT/ CPT

Work in a team environment and manage testing deliverables to meet project deadlines for both Communication module capability projects as well as Appliance Platform execution projects.

Work directly with project manager and with connectivity software engineers to maintain alignment on tasks and priority.

Developing and executing test plans for each of the tasks keeping reuse in mind.

Assist appliance platform teams on communication module configuration.

Develops and performs software test plans for the validation and regression of connectivity module software and platform interface implementations.

Uses manual methods and writes software test scripts for automated testing systems. Interacts directly with connectivity software engineers.

Submits Test Reports and participates in Test Plan reviews. Develops and tests software bundles for over the air programming. Works with project teams to assist in updating and troubleshooting connected appliance prototypes

Understanding of SW functionality

Ability to follow a process in logical, sequential steps

Clear written and verbal documentation skills

· What are the technologies and depth of technologies that a candidate must have to be successful in this assignment?

· Google Documents/ Microsoft Office

· SW bug tracking applications

· Knowledge of Python, Linux, networks and routers a plus

What level of education/experience is needed for this role?

· BS in Computer Science or similar Software focus.
