Software Test/QA Analyst (entry-level)

What you’ll do

Use your powerful problem-solving skills to stop “bugs” in their tracks – This means going beyond essential QA testing and anticipating problems that our developers don’t see when writing the code. Build your software testing toolbox – You will have the opportunity to learn and utilize a variety of testing techniques while mastering the techniques you already know. Be a hero for library patrons, researchers, administrators, and staff worldwide – Rigorously challenge functionality, bug fixes, and new releases to ensure our customers can perform their jobs with ease.

You are qualified if you:

LOVE to expose flaws in even the best software, mobile and web applications Performed software testing in either an academic or professional setting Have a high standard of quality for your work Can demonstrate a high level of organizational skills Want to develop expertise with automated testing and testing frameworks Have exposure to software development principles through college or university coursework

You are exceptionally qualified if you also:

Have recent experience working with SirsiDynix products Earned a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Have experience developing and executing test plans Have experience in or exposure to an Agile development environment Are able to write object-oriented code to test production object-oriented code Understand test design techniques such as specification-based, boundary value analysis, decision table, use case, and state transition testing
