QA Tester
Responsibilities
Create, review and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases using systematic approaches and formal risk based testing techniques
Review business requirements and technical documentation ensuring completeness, testability and utilize for test planning activities
Estimate, plan and prioritize testing activities
Provide estimates on testing efforts for assigned projects
Identify, log, and process defects using defect management systems
Design and execute regression testing suites
Work closely with internal teams to understand and document system requirements
Develop test automation using open source or commercial tools
Work with a small team of QA associates who test, evaluate, and validate IT initiatives and identify defects in software or services
Assist in the development and implementation of testing metrics to ensure priorities and objectives are aligned with business needs
Engage in positive and professional interaction with Software Developers, System Administrators, Project Management and other project team members
Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and project teams
Required Qualifications
3+ years experience with manual testing
2+ years experience with open source or commercial test automation tools
1+ years experience with testing web services
1+ years experience with a programming language (C#, Java, Python, etc.)
Ability to document clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Working knowledge of relational databases
Proven work experience in formal testing techniques , processes, and risk based testing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work individually and on a team, self-motived with strong work ethic
Good time management skills
