Associate Software QA Tester

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts such as the test data, data validation, and automated scripts. Perform manual testing of software applications. Identify any potential quality issues per implemented process and escalate the potential quality issues to management. Collect, analyze and validate data prior to it being stored for final use by the organization and/or its clients. Gain an understanding of the business requirements and technical architecture of our systems. Assist with analyzing and detecting potential software defects. Work with the software development, systems integration, and forms departments to resolve identified defects. Assist in the development and incorporation of automated testing activities. Utilize a Java-based automated test framework and Open Source Selenium test tools.

Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years of Software QA testing experience. Ability to create/implement clear, concise detail- oriented test plans/cases and implement appropriate automation testing software tools. Experience with software development life cycle. Experience on a combination of development environments including client/server, web, and mobile application development. Familiarity with quality assurance automation a plus. Excellent task management skills and a strong attention to detail.
