When to enable extensions
By default, the installation program:
·
Enables the extension for your default Web browser environment on the
host machine (if you selected a default browser).
·
Disables extensions on the host machine for all other browser
environments.
·
Disables extensions for all other development environments.
Extensions dialog
On the host machine, you turn extensions on and off using the Extensions
dialog. All information you enter in the Extensions dialog is stored in the file
partner.ini and allows SilkTest to recognize the non-standard controls you
want to test.
To invoke the Extensions dialog, select Options/Extensions from the SilkTest
menu bar on the host machine.
For more information about how to use the Extensions dialog, see the online
Help for the extensions you wish to enable for testing non-Windows controls
in your application.
