PVCS - Possible problems
Select the work files and enter the label in the Version Label field. If the
label has already been given to an earlier revision of a file, the label will
be reassigned to the most recent version.
Viewing the archive log
Procedure To see the history log of the archive for the currently active file in
SilkTest, select Options/PVCS Options/View History Log.
SilkTest displays the following information on each revision for the
archive: revision number, date of change, who made the change, any
comments made about the change, any version label given to the
revision, and which revisions are locked and by whom.
The archive's log is put into a newly created temporary file named
arclogxx.tmp in the working directory and opened in the editor.
Procedure To see the differences between the currently active file in
SilkTest and the last revision of its archive, select Options/PVCS Options/
The differences are put into a new file named arcdifxx.tmp in the current
working directory and opened in the editor.
This section lists some of the problems you might encounter using the PVCS
extension to SilkTest.
If you get "PVCS ERROR: PVCS_E_CANT_OPEN_CONFIG_FILE,"
you do not have a pvcsqap.cfg file in your Windows directory.
If you get "PVCS ERROR: PVCS_E_LAF...," the PVCS file islv.ini in
the Windows directory has problems.
Only one program can use the PVCS DLLs at a time. So if you are
running PVCS Version Manager, SilkTest might not be able to use the
