Creating and modifying testplan queries

The new query is displayed in the Testplan Queries list box.
How to edit queries
You can modify an existing query through the Mark by Named Query dialog.
Procedure To edit a query:

Select Testplan/Mark by Named Query to display the Mark by Named
Query dialog.

Select a query from the Testplan Queries list box and click Edit.
The Edit Testplan Query dialog appears. The name of the query to be
edited appears in the Query Name field. The tabs show the current
criteria for the query.

Edit the information on the appropriate tabs.

When you are finished editing the query, click OK.
The Mark by Named Query dialog once again becomes visible.

The query you've just edited appears in the Testplan Queries list box.
How to delete queries
Procedure To delete a query:

Select Testplan/Mark by Named Query to open the Mark by Named
Query dialog.

Select a query from the Testplan Queries list box and click the Remove
pushbutton.
QA Organizer prompts you to confirm the deletion.

Click Yes to have QA Organizer delete the query.

Click the Close pushbutton to close the dialog.
If you want to

Run the query and close the dialog.
Select the query and click Mark.
Close the dialog without running the
query.
Click Close.
If you want to
Then
Run the query you've just edited
and close the dialog.
Select the query and click Mark.
Close the dialog without running
the edited query.
Click Close.
