Disconnect
The time limit that the LoadRunner Controller waits to disconnect from any host. If
a disconnection is not successful within this time, the status of the host changes to
FAILED
. The default disconnection timeout is 60 seconds.
Heartbeat
Every thirty seconds, all agents on remote hosts send messages to the Controller.
These messages indicate that the agent is still active. If the Controller does not
receive any communication from the agent on a host for a specified period then the
status of the host changes to
FAILED
. This period is known as the "heartbeat
timeout". The default heartbeat timeout 240 seconds.
UNIX Settings
The UNIX related options are only relevant if you are running UNIX Vusers from a
Windows-based Controller.
Use lowercase UNIX login names
Instructs LoadRunner to use lowercase login names to login to UNIX machines.
Default Shell
Indicates the default shell in your UNIX environment. The available shells are C
shell (csh), Bourne shell (bsh), and Korn shell (ksh).
